Getting Aesthetic Treatment in Korea: What Should You Ask First at a Consultation?
If you could improve only one thing, think before your consultation about what bothers you most: pores and acne scars, dark circles, a double chin and jawline, nasolabial folds, or dry, rough skin. Gangnam Choice Clinic will first help you organize the questions worth asking at your consultation — you don't need to memorize device names or pick a package first.
When Gangnam Choice Clinic meets someone coming in for a first consultation, it first asks them to answer one question: if you could improve only one thing, what would you most want to address? Common answers cluster around a few areas — pores and acne scars, dark circles, a double chin and jawline, nasolabial folds, and dry, rough skin. Some people can't answer, because there is more than one thing they want to change, and at the same time they are worried about pain.
Do I need to decide on a device or a package before the consultation?
No. We will first help you organize the questions worth asking the doctor at your consultation — device names and packages are not the starting point of your preparation.
Knowing clearly what you care about most is more useful than memorizing equipment model names. That way, when you sit in the consultation room, you can ask questions that hit the point, instead of being pushed along by the options.
Why does settling on one area first make things go more smoothly?
Because a consultation is about discussing your own situation, not applying the same set of procedures to everyone.
- Only you can clearly describe the area that bothers you most
- Having many things you want to change, and being afraid of pain — you can say all of this directly at the consultation
- Bringing your questions to the doctor is more practical than choosing a treatment in advance
We are in Gangnam, Seoul, and consultations are conducted one-on-one by the director, so you can ask questions at your own pace.
